To be fair enough, comparing a flagship produced by both parties around the same time would do.
The SAMSUNG S8 was released in march 2017, it’s cost of production per unit was NGN117,465 ($307.5) and it retailed for NGN275,040 ($720).
It had an Exynos 8895 Octa processor with 4gb RAM, 64gb storage, 12MP rear camera, Fingerprint, Iris Scan, Face Unlock, 3000 mAh battery.
Infinix released its ZERO 5 likewise in 2017 around November which retailed for around NGN99,320 ($260).
It had a 2.6GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 MT6753 CPU with 6GB RAM, 12+13MP rear camera, 64gb storage, 4g lte, 4350mah battery, fingerprint sensor etc.
Let us for once assume Infinix cost of production equals sales price (which can’t be true), it still isn’t meeting up with the amount spent on parts by samsung. For metrics sake, Infinix sales price per unit of the ZERO 5 makes up 84.5% of the Samsung Galaxy S8 cost of production.
I assume there would be parts quality differences.
So back to the question, who’s better?
You choose.
