Xiaomi, the famous chinese device manufacturer released the Mi band 6 on April 2 in China, but wasn’t until April 25 before global shipment began.
The manufacturer is popularly known for its device affordability. This is just one of those strength other competitors can’t seem to get by.
The first version of its Mi band series, which broke into the market in 2014 sold for around $13 with over 10 millions sales in about 9 months. Ever since, the company has introduced other versions with both hardware and software improvements.
The latest on its line is now the Mi band 6 which currently retails for about $60. This latest band features a fitness tracker with an AMOLED display, SpO2 sensor, 30 fitness modes and it’s battery would last up to 14 days.
Market survey shows that though it’s global version has been released, it seems like stores get out of stock on this band so easily and may take a while for the bands to be readily available globally.
However, over one million units of the band has been reportedly shipped according to GSMARENA, of which most are made up of local sales in its origin country, China, since the global market hasn’t gotten a good grasp on the band’s stock.
