The popular Audio-chat app which launched only on the IOS last year also came on the android platform early this May, but only for beta testers and has now announced plans to launch its android beta in Nigeria by Friday morning according to a tweet from Clubhouse official handle.

Lest we forget, the app came into the spotlight earlier this year after celebrities were found involved in the conversions in the various club rooms offered on the Clubhouse app. Elon Musk who was one of the celebrities played a huge part in making the new social media attractive to a lot of audience after he was found on the app.

Now that this chat style brought about by the pandemic is getting really popular, other big social media companies are launching out into this sea by introducing various copy-cat features such as the Facebook Hotline, Tweeter Spaces, Instagram Live Rooms etc.

According to the Tweet by Clubhouse – Japan, Brazil and Russia get rolled out on the Android beta from Tuesday while Nigeria and India get on by Friday AM, which is around morning time. Then the rest of the world gets on by Friday afternoon.

Even though not currently available in Nigeria, a lot of Nigerians both home and abroad are already signed up and running the app on their Android devices without much issues.

In order to get on Clubhouse, all you need to do is check on the Playstore once it’s available, download the app, register using an exclusive username then get someone already signed up to invite you on to the audio-chat app.
