WhatsApp has revealed some keyboard shortcuts to using the instant messaging platform on both Windows and Mac last week with a tweet captioned “Final boss mode: UNLOCKED!”
The tweet by its official twitter account was accompanied with four images showing the various shortcuts key combinations that could be entered to make certain functions happen faster.
Although it also referred to these keyboard shortcuts as cheat codes, but in reality they just make handlings on the application easier especially when it comes to individuals whose time is a high priority in receiving and responding to messages like customer service agents.
Some of those things that could be made to happen using these key combinations include archive chat, pin/unpin, search in chat, open chat, delete chat, open profile and some more.
In total, there are sixteen functions that could be accessible by the keyboard shortcuts and these could happen on the Mac browser version, Mac desktop app, Windows browser version and Windows desktop app.
